So let’s just set a few things straight…

Being tech savvy is definitely not my strong point. In fact, it terrifies me and makes me want to lock myself in the pantry with a very oversized cup of coffee! I have literally been running my little biz off my phone for the past three years. Because that’s how mom’s do it, don’t they? They just do the next thing in front of them.

However, with the strong desire to create a website I decided to put on my “big girl” pants, drive down to my local Costco and purchase a laptop. Not a fancy laptop, but a mid -grade, super cute, little white laptop. And you know what? it feels great!

So here we are…

Hello! My name is Jenny. I am a mamabear to three wild and amazing munchkins, and the wife to an equally wild and amazing man. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree right?! I am a crafter, a creator, a dreamer and a believer that anything is possible!

Here at our household we love kitchen dance parties, living room fort building and slip n’ sliding in the rain. I could not live without Coffee, and I am truly inspired each and every day by all the beauty in my life.

Growing up with an extremely creative and crafty mother, I feel It’s only natural that I have followed in her footsteps. When I was a little girl I can remember her dragging my sister, brother and I to the fabric store. We hated it! At least back then fabric stores had ball pits to throw your kids into. What the hell happened to those?? Needless to say, I find it quite hilarious that all these years later… well…. don’t ask my kids where I love to drag them to. Haha!

I started Bean & Bear several years ago, when my girls were quite little. As a stay at home mom, I found it to be the perfect creative outlet for me. I would spend countless nap hours playing around with different materials and seeing what I could come up with.  I realize now, that time gave me both a sense of identy back and kept my sanity in check. 

Years later it hasn’t just given me sanity and identity,  it’s now creating a life for our family that I could never have imagined.

My vision for Bean & Bear is quite simple. To provide cute, stylish, comfortable items for you and your little’s while having a ton of fun along the way.
